Double Edged Sword

How far would you go
to get your point across?

Men have killed and died
to make a point: This is wrong,
This is right
Because I said so.

I have often envisioned
what I could become
to make a point.

A deadly queen
sharp and cruel
willing to slaughter
thousands in the
name of justice and
peace.

Swift and silent
the transformation
from idealist
to cynic
to despot
to God.

Our points
are so fragile
and demanding.
They can be
demolished
by anyone with
wit but they
are strong enough
to drink the blood
of an entire nation.
